One of the things that gives us the most satisfaction at Trilogi (TLG) is seeing our clients launch high-volume sales campaigns successfully. It shows that online store managers trust the reliability of our technical support and easily master our advanced eCommerce platform, LogiCommerce 8.5, running promotions that drive high traffic peaks.
Safe online promotions
On June 22, DavidChristianMadrid launched a 24-hour “Everything at 100” promotion that multiplied the store’s average daily sales by 15. The campaign’s success can be summed up in three points:
- the work of the store’s managers, using Trilogi’s (TLG) management tool, LogiCommerce 8.5,
- the performance of the platform, which ensured a flawless response to the huge surge in traffic,
- and the collaboration between the store’s managers and Trilogi’s (TLG) technical team.
Work, planning and collaboration between the online store and the software provider are the keys to successful campaigns limited only by the project’s ambition, since Trilogi’s (TLG) tool can serve projects of any volume.
DavidChristianMadrid’s “Everything at 100” followed these principles. The campaign’s critical points were analyzed beforehand, prices were worked out and measures were taken to avoid a slow store or errors. The decision was made to scale up the servers for 48 hours, since shoppers were expected to visit the store before the promotion began to calmly pick the items they would later add to their cart. Finally, Trilogi’s (TLG) 24-hour service stood by throughout the promotion, ready to step in and help if anything unexpected came up.
The platform performed as expected: customers’ browsing experience was unchanged compared with non-promotion days, and page load speed was the same as on a normal day, just as planned.
“Everything at 100,” a classic
DavidChristianMadrid’s “Everything at 100” promotion is a classic among the online store’s annual promotions. Its organizers’ experience —this was the seventh edition— allowed them to plan a strong social media campaign, especially on Facebook, where they have more than 33,000 followers.
Customers were able to communicate with the store’s managers and with each other. In their social media comments they shared their experience, a very direct way to gauge user satisfaction. This attention to social media is another area that must be handled with the professionalism shown by DavidChristianMadrid’s managers, since some customers may occasionally be disappointed at missing out on a product they wanted because it sold out before they got there.
Finally, a promotion’s success also depends on how the whole process wraps up: good delivery service, fast order fulfillment and the handling of returns or issues will be decisive in keeping customers tuned in to other promotions, such as the eagerly awaited summer sales.
DavidChristianMadrid is already in the middle of its July sales campaign and preparing new ones, like most of our clients, who rely on Trilogi (TLG) to run safe campaigns that can handle high traffic peaks, planned or unplanned, thanks to the automatic scalability of the cloud system we work with.
