Profit analytics: from sales volume to real profit

Many companies measure their eCommerce by revenue or by return on ad spend, and discover at year-end that the channel that sells the most isn’t the one that earns the most. Product cost, logistics, marketplace fees, returns and advertising eat into margin unevenly. Our service connects the data you already have, starting with your ERP, and turns it into a dashboard that answers one simple question: where do you really make money, and where do you lose it?

The challenge

What sales reports don’t show you

  1. 01

    Channels that lose money

A marketplace can bring in a lot of revenue and still leave a negative margin after fees and returns.

  2. 02

    Siloed data

Sales in the store, costs in the ERP, logistics in another tool and advertising on each platform.

  3. 03

    Advertising without margin

Return on ad spend ignores product cost and shipping.

  4. 04

    Late decisions

You find out at quarter-end, when there’s no room left to maneuver.

Not all sales are worth the same.

Frequently asked questions

What we’re often asked.

What is channel profitability?

It’s the profit each sales channel leaves once all variable costs are deducted: product, logistics, fees, returns and advertising. It lets you fairly compare your online store, marketplaces and B2B channel.

Do I need to change my ERP or tools?

No. We connect to what you already use through our integration hub. If some data doesn’t exist or isn’t reliable, we flag it in the data map and propose how to fix it.

How is this different from a Google Analytics report?

Analytics measures visits and sales, but it doesn’t know your product costs, shipping or fees. Our dashboard combines those sources to show margin, which is what really decides whether a channel pays off.

Who maintains the dashboard?

We do. We maintain the connections, check that the data adds up and meet with you every month to review the results and propose actions.

How long does setup take?

It depends on the number of sources and the quality of the data. We give you a fixed timeline once the data map is done, which usually takes about two weeks.
