SEO for online stores that want to grow revenue
SEO for an online store is nothing like SEO for a blog. You have thousands of product URLs, filters that create duplicates, categories competing with each other and a catalog that changes every week. At Trilogi we’ve been doing eCommerce SEO since 1999 with a transactional focus: we prioritize searches with purchase intent, organize the catalog architecture and fix the technical side before writing a single line. And now we add a new layer: optimizing your store so that ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google’s AI answers cite you and recommend your products.

The challenge
SEO problems we see in almost every online store
- Symptom 1
Traffic dropping for no clear reason
An algorithm change, a platform update or an indexing error can sink organic traffic. Without a diagnosis, all you have is guesswork.
- Symptom 2
Poorly indexed catalog
Filters, pagination and variants create thousands of duplicate or empty URLs that dilute the authority of your key categories.
- Symptom 3
Invisible in AI answers
More and more shoppers ask an assistant before they search. If your brand lacks structured data and citable content, it doesn’t show up.
- Symptom 4
Expansion without strategy
Entering new markets with machine translations, without hreflang or local keyword research, is investing with no return.

What we do
What our eCommerce SEO includes
A modular service that adapts to your online store’s stage and your platform.
SEO audit
We analyze indexing, crawling, content, links and performance with Google Search Console, Semrush and crawling tools. You get a plan prioritized by impact and effort.
Technical SEO
Robots.txt, sitemaps, canonicals, pagination, structured data, internal linking and page speed. We get it ready so Google crawls what matters.
Architecture and content
We review the category structure and create landing pages, product pages and articles aimed at real searches. Useful content, supported by AI and reviewed by writers.
AEO and GEO
We optimize your store for answer engines and generative search: entities, structured data and citable content. We go deep on this through our GEO agency.
International SEO
Keyword research by country, hreflang, domains or subfolders and localized content. So every market gets its own visibility.

If you change platform or domain, we map redirects and monitor the transition to protect the traffic you already have.

Frequently asked questions
What we’re often asked.
How long does SEO take to show results in an online store?
It depends on the starting point, the competition in your sector and the technical state of the store. Technical fixes usually take effect sooner than content or links. We typically work with a horizon of several months and measure progress monthly. We don’t guarantee rankings, but we do guarantee a clear, prioritized and transparent plan.
What is the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?
SEO works on visibility in traditional search results. AEO optimizes content so answer engines use it as a direct answer. GEO aims to get generative search tools, like ChatGPT or Google’s AI answers, to cite your brand and products. All three disciplines share a common technical and content foundation.
Do you do SEO for Shopify, PrestaShop or LogiCommerce?
Yes. We are technology-agnostic and work on SEO on the platform you already have, including Shopify, PrestaShop, LogiCommerce, WooCommerce or commercetools. Each platform has its own quirks in URLs, filters and templates, and we tailor our technical recommendations to each one so your team can apply them.
What happens to SEO if I migrate my store to another platform?
A poorly planned migration can cost you a large share of organic traffic. We inventory URLs, build a 301 redirect map, review templates and metadata in the staging environment and monitor indexing after launch. We explain it in detail in our SEO migration service.
Do you use AI to create SEO content?
Yes, as support for research, structuring and speeding up production. But every text is reviewed and edited by a writer with business and SEO judgment. The goal is useful, accurate content for your customers, because that’s what both Google and AI assistants value.
