Take your online store international with a plan for each market
Opening your store to other countries looks simple: translate the website and turn on shipping. In practice, every market has its own language, preferred payment methods, delivery expectations, tax rules and way of searching and buying. A well-planned international eCommerce expansion starts by deciding where it makes sense to go and how to enter: cross-border sales, a local store, marketplaces or distributors. At TRILOGI we combine strategy, technology and marketing to design that plan, prepare it technically and roll it out country by country, with data that tells you when to accelerate and when to course-correct.

The challenge
Common mistakes when going abroad
- 01
Choosing countries by gut feeling
Going where there ‘seems’ to be demand, without analyzing market size, competition or acquisition cost.
- 02
Translating without localizing
A word-for-word translated website, with prices, sizes or messages that don’t connect with local customers.
- 03
Payments and shipping that hold you back
Without the country’s usual payment methods, or with long delivery times, carts get abandoned.
- 04
Overlooked taxes and returns
Poorly handled VAT, customs and reverse logistics eat into the margin of every international order.
Every country is a new market, not a translation.
What we do
What we do for your international expansion
We cover the strategic decision and the execution, from the first spreadsheet to the first order.
Country selection and prioritization
We analyze demand, competition, search volume and entry cost to prioritize markets. We propose a realistic rollout order.
Entry model
We compare cross-border, a local store, marketplaces and a distributor network based on your product and margin. To find distributors we can rely on AI prospecting agents.
Store and content localization
We adapt language, catalog, pricing, currencies and messaging to each market. We configure the platform to manage multiple countries without duplicating work.
Payments and basic taxation
We enable the relevant payment methods in each country and guide you on VAT, OSS and customs, coordinating with your tax advisors.
International logistics
We integrate carriers, delivery times and shipping costs by destination, and design the returns policy. The delivery promise becomes a selling point.
Marketing by country
We plan international SEO, Google and Meta campaigns and content for each market. For Asia we offer dedicated China consulting.

Frequently asked questions
What we’re often asked.
How do I choose which countries to expand my eCommerce into?
We combine demand and search data, market size, competition, cultural and logistical proximity, and estimated customer acquisition cost. Your operational capacity also matters: customer service in another language, delivery times and returns. The result is a ranking of countries with a rollout order and a clear rationale.
Is it better to sell cross-border or open a local store?
It depends on the country and your volume. Cross-border from Spain is faster and cheaper to launch, ideal for validation. A local store or warehouse improves delivery times, trust and conversion, but requires more investment and management. Many brands start cross-border and localize once the market proves its potential.
Do I need a separate store for each country?
Not necessarily. Many platforms let you manage multiple languages, currencies, catalogs and prices from a single back office. The decision depends on how much the offering, taxes and logistics vary between countries. We help you choose the architecture that balances local control and efficiency.
What happens with VAT when selling online to other countries?
In the European Union, the One-Stop Shop (OSS) scheme lets you declare VAT on sales to consumers in other member states. Outside the EU, customs and duties come into play. We guide you and configure the store accordingly, but we always recommend validating the details with your tax advisor.
Can you help me find international distributors?
Yes. In addition to direct online sales, we analyze the distribution model and can rely on AI agents that identify and qualify potential distributors by country. That way you combine your own channel and a partner network based on what works best in each market.
