Màrius Rossell, CEO of TLG Commerce, brings the company’s staff together twice a year. At the meeting, the company’s financial results are shared and goals are set for the next financial year — including the same drive that led to the company’s founding in 1999: improving how products are sold online.
A few days before closing the 2017 financial year, corporate strategy director Marc Blasco announced that growth over the previous year would exceed 20%. He also highlighted the extraordinary growth in the company’s profitability, up 200% on 2016, meeting one of the goals set for 2017.
The annual Transparency meeting opened with these highlights. It went on to review the challenges consolidated in 2017 and announce the goals for 2018, for both the European and Asian markets. Company founder Màrius Rossell stressed the need to improve all production processes to gain even more agility in delivering every project.
Rossell noted that in 2017 new tools were introduced that have improved the production process. Improvements, he pointed out, that “benefit clients and the new developments constantly being made to LogiCommerce, our eCommerce agency’s flagship product.”
Consolidating departments
Màrius Rossell expressed his satisfaction with the consolidation of various departments in a company that, thanks to the trust of more than 300 clients, has grown very quickly in a short time. New hires such as Samantha Areny, CFO, Pau Lepage, head of eMarketing, and Àngel Miranda, head of operations, have further strengthened the TLG team’s 18 years of eCommerce management experience. The agency’s CEO announced a new hire for 2018 that completes the creation of a new department: Customer Care. Laura Graells will be responsible for improving customer service and strengthening Customer Care across the company, with a team of around 10 people.
On the project side, the team presented the Real Time Monitor, a new tool that not only controls and monitors clients’ online stores, but also server usage, forecasts traffic peaks, tracks resource levels, and more.
Finally, he encouraged the whole team to contribute ideas to improve all company processes, and for teams to keep coordinating as always, even as they keep growing.
The 2017 annual Transparency meeting was held at the Adoberia Bella, a building owned by the Igualada city council and home to the Igualada Leather Cluster.
