eCommerce keeps growing: it rose 11.7% in the last quarter of 2102, according to data from the Telecommunications Market Commission. Companies are betting on the internet, and so are customers. A study by Sofres confirms it, stating that 26% of Europeans research online before going to a physical store to buy.
Today, online marketing techniques are part of many companies’ daily planning—strategies that have evolved at the pace of technology and of the economic and social context. We can see this by traveling back in time with the help of a tool found at archieve.org: the “Way Back Machine.”

With it you can tour the history of web design and online marketing: from typical ’90s websites and static 1.0 sites to 2.0, where the user is king, content is the prince and interaction is the nobility of the court. No doubt we’ll soon find semantic 3.0 sites there too.
To use it, just enter the URL of the website you want to look up and click the “Take Me Back” button. The machine gets going and displays a calendar with the snapshots available to view.

Traveling in this particular time machine, we can find some curiosities, such as what Trilogi looked like in 2003:

Or in 2007.

This, as you know, is how it looks today,
