A distributor who finishes work in the early hours needs to know whether a product is available and be able to order it from their phone. For Neovideo Digital, an importer and distributor of professional audiovisual technology, this is part of everyday life. Its B2B online store must show reliable information and allow purchases without depending on a call or a message.
That’s the context for its migration from PrestaShop 1.7.8 to PrestaShop 9 with Trilogi. Albert Renú, CEO of Neovideo Digital, explained the project in the webinar Make the leap to PrestaShop 9, held on September 23, 2026: the store’s evolution must respect the connection with SAP Business One, on which the catalog, prices, customers, stock and orders depend.
Neovideo is modernizing its B2B eCommerce so its distributors can find products, check availability and place orders more easily. During the webinar, Albert praised Trilogi’s methodology and support

The challenge: fast B2B purchasing, even outside business hours
Neovideo’s distributors usually buy to meet specific needs of their own customers. According to Albert, two pieces of information matter most in this business: availability and price. They need to find the right product, check stock and complete the order in just a few steps.
They can’t always do it from a computer or during office hours. Some check and buy from their phone at one in the morning, after a shoot or while preparing the next day’s work. Neovideo wants the website to let them handle these tasks independently and quickly. It also wants to refresh the design and improve product information.
Its PrestaShop B2B store has another particularity: when an end consumer wants to buy, Neovideo receives the inquiry through a form and directs them to the most suitable distributor. As a result, the shopping experience for professionals and the way end customers are served play different roles within the same site.
Why Neovideo decided to move from PrestaShop 1.7.8 to 9
Albert explains that Trilogi had already supported Neovideo through a previous upgrade. Over time, version 1.7.8 and the store’s presentation itself began to need another review. The company wanted to keep its platform up to date, improve product information and enable more direct purchasing for customers who are usually short on time.
The timing also followed a business logic. Neovideo started the work in August, a better period to tackle it before the rise in activity that, according to Albert, comes from September onward in its industry. Planning the migration around that workload is as much a part of the project as deciding which technology to upgrade.

SAP Business One and PrestaShop 9: the part that can’t fail
At Neovideo, the website doesn’t work in isolation. Albert describes an integration in which products, prices, customer data and stock flow from SAP Business One to PrestaShop, while orders placed in the store go back to SAP. When logged in, a distributor can check their discounts and place orders. Having availability reflect actual units is especially important: a single purchase can use up the last units of a product.
The client explained that they had already tried different approaches to connecting both systems. In the current setup, they work directly with their SAP partner, who defines the fields that flow between the ERP and PrestaShop. Albert highlighted how quickly the system updates stock when an order comes in. This is a capability of their existing operations that must be taken into account when migrating, not a result attributed to the new version.
That’s why the decisive question for this project goes beyond whether the new store looks good: will each distributor keep receiving the right data, prices and availability, and will orders reach the ERP as the team expects? Reviewing the connector and testing these flows are part of the migration we’ve carried out at Trilogi.

PrestaShop 9 reviews: working on the migration with Trilogi
In the webinar, Albert pointed to two factors that give him peace of mind. The first is the experience of having worked with Trilogi before; the second, being able to follow the project’s progress even though he spends his days between visits, manufacturers and international time zones. He describes a method that lets him check the steps, task status and open questions.
On this tracking, he summed it up as “a simple system, but very well designed and very efficient.” And, speaking about the team’s answers to his questions, he added: “The experience really shows.”
He also mentioned the store analysis and the recommendations received from Trilogi. For Neovideo, this upfront work makes it possible to decide what to renew without losing sight of the practical goal: letting distributors browse products and buy easily while the team focuses on importing, training and serving its customers.
