Amazon Web Services (AWS) publishes a case study on the LogiCommerce platform

We’re pleased to announce that Amazon Web Services (AWS) has published a case study on the LogiCommerce platform. The article describes the challenge we took on when we decided to migrate all online stores built with LogiCommerce, our SaaS software, to the AWS platform.

The goal was to offer our clients a state-of-the-art, auto-scaling cloud infrastructure platform.

AWS + LogiCommerce, a partnership for growth

In the published case study, Xavier Leoz, IT Manager at LogiCommerce, highlights the auto-scaling of the servers now hosting the eCommerce sites, which scale up or down with demand. A basic requirement for big brands that draw very heavy traffic to their online stores during peak periods such as Black Friday or Christmas.

LogiCommerce’s R&D team, led by Leoz, has invested heavily in designing a new architecture that makes the most of the huge advantages of Amazon Web Services. Key improvements include how quickly new eCommerce sites now go live, significantly cutting setup times and other technical work. Leoz adds another figure in the study published by AWS: platform availability has increased to levels very close to 100%.

The case study covers all the improvements that enable limitless growth for every business that relies on LogiCommerce, and details all the AWS solutions LogiCommerce is implementing.

For LogiCommerce, this high availability is crucial so that the big brands joining our client portfolio can achieve the results they want.
