Carmina Shoemaker was founded in 1997 in Inca, Mallorca. Known as one of the best handmade shoe brands in the world, Carmina Shoemaker now has more than 20 points of sale worldwide. In 2015, they opened their first online store with Trilogi, and since then they have relied on LogiCommerce. Together, we have developed new projects such as the 3D Customizer, which has been very well received by consumers.

The aim of this project was to offer Carmina's customers the best shopping experience on the market with a powerful 3D customizer.

Briefing

Carmina Shoemaker's main objective was to coordinate all the information about the different options and variations for each model in order to visually represent all the possibilities that a customer could select when customizing their own shoe using the 3D Customizer. They also wanted to optimize it as much as possible for mobile devices and fine-tune it to the user experience so that customers could visually follow the changes applied during the shoe customization process at all times.

They already had a 2D Customizer, but they wanted to expand the features and possibilities across different models to make the shoes look much more realistic, creating immersive 3D experiences where customers could customize their shoes with greater precision and detail.

Strategy and services

The project was carried out in close collaboration with Carmina Shoemaker and Threedium, addressing even the smallest details of the shoe to ensure that the result was as expected. All possible options within each model had to be programmed, taking into account that there are hundreds of values for each option and that, when combined, there are billions of variations that we had to identify and design.

Trilogi Threedium's API connections to ensure that all the features already available in the previous 2D configurator were applied to the 3D model. Therefore, this connection between LogiCommerce Threedium via the API was made by Trilogi.

Have you noticed an increase in sales since implementing the 3D Customizer?
Since implementing the new Customizer, the conversion rate has increased, especially on desktop, by 100%, and on mobile by 10%. Overall, there has been a 25% increase in annual sales.

"Proud would be the word." We are very happy with the result. We know it was a very complex project, and yet it has managed to convey the quality of the shoe through the screen, and that has helped us offer our customers such a personalized shopping experience that, today, they would surely not find in any other Customizer.
