The success of this project gave Lacoste a centralized environment with all product information: descriptions, attributes, images, etc. As a result, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacoste.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lacoste<\/a> eCommerce store automatically has rich information on every model.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6174\" src=\"https:\/\/trilogi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Capture-6-e1476697342993.jpg\" alt=\"capture\" width=\"750\" height=\"379\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 19.5pt; background: white; vertical-align: baseline; margin: 0cm 0cm 19.5pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #555555;\">The companies\u2019 leaders have sealed this work with a collaboration agreement that can benefit other companies needing this solution.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>What does a PIM do?<\/h2>\n<p>A key factor for retail, in the midst of transforming how it sells its products, is having all information centralized to make integrating the digital sales channel easier.<\/p>\n<p>The PIM solution acts as the link between the ERP and the eCommerce platform. On one side it gathers structured information (descriptions, attributes, features and categories) from the ERP.
